A couple of guys who know hoops and want to waste their time by throwing interesting writing about it into the vast Grand Canyon of the internet.
Jordan: A reporter, columnist and editor, Jordan writes about the Raptors for 24 hours Toronto, when the newspaper has more than ten lines of free space on the Sports page. He’s started and abandoned several blogs, looking for one that fits. Journalism school, and a few years working at gigantic papers where ten people touched your writing before it ever saw a page, have taught him how to be concise and wordy at the same time. Wait. No they haven’t — all they really taught him was to find a place without the nine editors in the middle. Regardless, he’s been a hoops head since the dawn of the current millennium and has dealt with words since … damn, he’s old. Let’s leave it at that. Jordan will write up post-game diaries and notes after home games, and then muse on the NBA in longer, more pretentious, essay-style pieces when he feels like it.
Jizzy Ranks: A true hoophead with a passion for the game. If Jordan feels old thinking about how long he’s writing, thinking about how long he’s followed the NBA must make Ranks feel like Methuselah. Jizzy scopes action from around the league as much as he possibly can — sacrificing sleep and work to do so — in order to compose a comprehensive Power Rankings. He also works as a team manager for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, and will enlighten us all with rambling about the OUA from time to time. There’s nothing you can do about this. Don’t even try to stop him.
Mr CLotttttt, get my houston rockets up in the mix more….its the year of blastoff for Tmac and company…remember wher you heard it first.
Big ups to Jizzy Ranks and his thoughts on the OUA. Can’t wait to hear more from this clot
